The Blooming Great Tea Party 2017

One thing I love so much is being able to do something to benefit someone else, so I jumped at the opportunity to be able to take part in the Marie Curie’s BlOOMING GREAT TEA PARTY. But guess what, we need you…

Who are Marie Curie?

Marie Curie is a charity that provides nearly 2,200 nurses to care for those with a terminal illness. They give hands on care and emotional support to provide love, care and information for those suffering and their families. This allows those with a terminal illness to die peacefully in the incredible Marie Curie homes surronded by those they love. Last year alone Marie Curie provided more than 1.2 Million hours of nursing to 31,755 people while supporting their families. This charity does incredible work across the country and helps so many lives in such a hard time. This is our time to give back, our thank you.

what is The Blooming Great Tea Party?

This amazing Tea Party is a chance to get together with family, friends, work colleagues or even people you dont know for cake and tea all to help raise money to help those living with a terminal illness. All you have to do is apply for a FREE PACK HERE, you can then organise something big or even something small at home and get everyone together to enjoy your tea party! On the day you can sit enjoy cake and tea while being around amazing people all while you donate something for the event. Who doesn’t love an excuse for a tea party? Every little piece (see what I did there…) can help, just £20 can pay for an hour of nursing care for somebody in their own home. £70 provides two slide sheets and essential equpiment to help move someone with a terminal illness. £180 can help a Marie Curie nurse look after someone with a terminal illness for a full nine hour night shift. Every penny goes towards helping someone else, who wouldnt want to eat cake knowing they are helping?

But i dont wanna hold a tea party, what can i do?

Thats totally cool too! you can always check out for places near by holding one and go along. If not why dont you share some of your incredible baking recipes for others to test and try all in aid of the tea party. You can write this up and share online and dont forget to tag me via Instagram or twitter (@aimeebrowes) so I can also read all of these. There are some great examples on HERE TOO!! Any method of sharing the Tea party is incredible, be that by hosting your own, creating a recipes or even sharing the links for the website, everything you do is helping somebody else.

MY TEA PARTY HELD IN SHEFFIELD

On the 8th July 2017 (time to be confirmed) in the beautiful Botanical Gardens Sheffield, I will be holding my “BLOOMING GREAT TEA PARTY” in aid of the incredible Marie Curie.

This outdoor tea party will be an event for all to come together enjoy the picturesque surroundings while nibbling on cake, biscuits and tea. This will be an incredible opportunity to take photos, meet people who this charity has helped and other bloggers all while enjoying cake in the sun.

Everyone is more than welcome to come along to the Tea Party, we will be incredibly grateful if you brought any cakes or tea along too! We will be collecting donations on the day and all proceeds will be going straight to Marie Curie, so anything is welcome!

More information will be released as I plan further ahead.

I am looking for bloggers and photographers to come down to the small event and help create more awareness for the charity. I am also looking for any further donations such as blankets, tea sets, DJs, cakes etc from anyone or company willing to collaborate too.
If you know anyone who may want to collaborate to make this event bigger please do email me at lifestylebyaimee@outlook.com

I look forward to seeing you all there and keep in contact via Instagram for more information.
Everything you do will help somebody else, so do get involved and if you have any more questions do please let me know
